The story of the piece
Description
This elegant Egermann bonbonaire (candy dish) is a stunning example of Bohemian crystal artistry. Crafted in a rich emerald green, the lidded bowl features a heavy application of 24K gold gilding and intricate hand-painted high-enamel floral motifs. The white petals are created using a traditional "relief" technique, giving the design a beautiful three-dimensional texture. This sophisticated piece serves as a luxurious functional storage jar for sweets or jewelry, as well as a high-end decorative centerpiece.
